Your new Ford truck is rugged, tough, and built to last. It’s also covered by a comprehensive warranty that protects you against any unforeseen issue with the materials or labor used to make your truck. As your Ford dealer, we want to tell you more about the Ford warranty provisions that protect your investment.

Bumper-to-Bumper Coverage
This warranty covers most of the components and systems in your vehicle. Anything not covered in this warranty will be covered by the other warranties detailed below. If a warranty-related issue is found, it will be corrected by Ford-trained technicians using Ford-approved replacement parts. Coverage applies for the first three years or 36,000 miles, whichever is sooner.
Some types of damage are not covered by this warranty. These include damage due to unauthorized repairs, vandalism, or accidents. All excluded situations are explained in your warranty handbook.
Tire Coverage
Your tires are included in this warranty coverage. They also have their own manufacturer’s warranties. If a tire has a defect, this warranty covers the labor cost to remove it and install and balance a replacement. The tire replacement cost is 100% covered for the first year and has pre-rate coverage for the remainder of the warranty period.
Powertrain Coverage
This warranty covers the engine, transmission FWD, RWD, or 4WD/AWD systems and all their internal components. Coverage applies for five years or 60,000 miles. As in the Bumper-to-Bumper coverage above, there are excluded situations listed in the handbook.
Diesel Engine Coverage Period
If you have a direct injection diesel engine, it and its specialized components are protected for five years or 100,000 miles.
Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Unique Component Coverage
If you have a hybrid or electric vehicle, its highly specialized components are protected for eight years or 100,000 miles. Protected components include the onboard charger, high-voltage battery, and the high-voltage battery connector.
The high-voltage battery gradually loses storage capacity over time, like all batteries. This loss is naturally occurring and not a defect.
Corrosion Coverage Period
Corrosion is highly damaging to unprotected metal and can rapidly destroy it. Your Ford’s sheet metal and body panels are protected against this type of damage by specialized coatings applied during construction. If corrosion appears and forms a hole through the metal from one side to the other, the affected sections will be replaced at no charge. Coverage applies for five years and unlimited mileage.
