2023 Ford Transit Cargo Van

The 2023 Transit cargo van is available in one standard trim level, but many options enable you to equip your van to the specifications you need for your business. It's offered with a low, medium, or high roof. You can also choose a standard wheelbase or long wheelbase, which gives you the option of an extended-length body. Single or double rear wheels are yet another choice you can make.

Exterior features include a stylish honeycomb mesh grille, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, 16-inch steel wheels, a sliding passenger-side door, and 50/50 hinged rear doors. You can choose options such as a power-sliding side door, 60/40-hinged side doors, long- or short-arm heated power mirrors, running boards, and, with single rear wheel models, the available black or silver alloy wheels.

Under the Transit's hood is a refined 3.5-liter V-6 engine delivering 275 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. You can choose a more powerful turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that generates 310 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are matched with a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic transmission.

For the Transit, rear-wheel drive is standard, or you can opt for an intelligent all-wheel-drive system for enhanced handling and traction. The standard engine features automatic start-stop technology for improved fuel economy around town. When properly equipped, the Transit can tow up to 6,400 pounds with the base engine, or 6,900 pounds with the turbo.
