2021 Ford F-650

The 2021 Ford F-650 comes in three trims: Pro Loader, Straight Frame, and Tractor. The Pro Loader has a chassis that's 33.6 inches high, while the Straight Frame's chassis is 39.4 inches high. You have three cab options: the two-door Regular Cab, the four-door Crew Cab, and the four-door Super Cab. The Pro Loader rides on 19.5-inch wheels, while the Straight Frame has 22.5-inch bright polished aluminum wheels.

Exterior features include power telescoping mirrors, integrated clearance lamps, and heated glass with integrated manually adjustable spotter mirrors.

The 2021 F-650 Pro Loader and Straight Frame are powered by the same gasoline engine, a 7.3-liter V-8 that produces 350 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque. This engine is mated to Ford's TorqShift six-speed automatic transmission with double overdrive.

The Tractor trim is powered by a 6.7-liter turbocharged PowerStroke diesel engine. In its standard configuration, it produces 270 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque. This engine can also produce 300 horsepower and 725 pound-feet of torque or 330 horsepower and 750 pound-feet of torque.

Ford's TorqShift transmission features two modes: Progressive Range Select and Tow/Haul. Progressive Range Select gives you control over gear shifting via a rotary dial on the center console, improving the ride in driving conditions with reduced traction. Tow/Haul Mode detects whether you're going uphill or downhill and adjusts shifting and speed accordingly.

Expect improved handling on the F-650, thanks to its available front stabilizer bar. The F-650 has a gross vehicle weight rating of up to 37,000 pounds.

Depending on the cab configuration, your F-650 will come with one of three seat types. While the SuperCab configuration comes with 60/40-split flip-up bench seats in the rear, the Crew Cab version features a 60/40-spilt flip-up cushion/fold-down bench with backrest. The cabin is insulated from outside noise, providing a smooth, quiet ride.

Ford Telematics equips your truck with the ability to access key insights and information. You can monitor your fuel consumption, track your location using GPS, collect insights about driver performance, and set service reminders. Dual USB charging ports will keep your devices charged.

Hill start assist comes standard on the 2021 F-650. This feature detects when you're on an incline and will stop your truck from rolling back by automatically holding the brakes. Pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking is available on the F-650. With this feature, the truck can avoid collisions or mitigate them, preserving the safety of you and your passengers and protecting your truck from damage. Other available safety features include lane-keeping alert, which stops you from drifting into other traffic lanes, auto high-beam headlights to improve visibility in poor road conditions, and forward collision warning.
