2021 Ford F-250

The 2021 Ford F-250 is available in six trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. This truck is highly customizable, thanks to three cab types — regular, extended, and crew cab — and two bed lengths. Wheel options start with 17-inch Argent steel wheels, with available options including 18-inch Sparkle Silver wheels and 20-inch polished aluminum wheels as you go up the trims.

Other exterior elements include standard solar-tinted rear glass, manual telescoping and folding mirrors, and tie-down hooks. The Limited comes with a moonroof and rear privacy glass.

Take advantage of the F-250's five selectable drive modes — Normal, Slippery, Eco, Tow/Haul, and Deep Sand/Snow, all standard from the XLT trim and higher. The available engine idle shutdown feature ensures that you can maximize your fuel and spend less at the gas station.

You'll get your 2021 F-250 with one of three engines under the hood. The base engine is a 6.2-liter V-8 that produces 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

The Limited trim comes standard with a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel engine that makes 475 horsepower and 1,050 pound-feet of torque, making it one of the most powerful powertrains in the super duty truck segment. This engine is available on the lower trims, along with a 7.3-liter V-8 that makes 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission is paired with both engines. Four-wheel drive is available across all trims.

The inside of the 2021 Ford F-250 is well-appointed and highly functional. Upholstery options include vinyl on the lower trims and leather seating surfaces on the Limited. Standard infotainment features include FordPass Connect with a 4G Wi-Fi hot spot, SYNC (or SYNC 3 on the Limited), and a four- or six-speaker sound system on lower trims, depending on cab configuration. The Limited upgrades to a Bang & Olufsen 10-speaker sound system.

Each F-250 is equipped with side air bags and front air bags in the front seats and a safety canopy system with side curtain air bags. Child tethers and anchors come standard to keep your children safe, along with seat belts with height adjustment and belt minders.

The Ford Co-Pilot360 package equips the F-250 with driver-assistance technologies such as a blind-spot monitoring system, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking and forward collision warning, a 180/360-degree camera, and lane-keeping alert.
